Magdalis Melo is the President and Founder of Magda Green Design. Starting her passion of design in 2004, she went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Philadelphia in 2008. Thereafter, she continued her education at Temple University where she received her certification in Project Management. In her 14-year career, she has joined many docent organizations and has obtained success through design projects including residential and commercial designs, as well as community events, including educational seminars. Magda enjoys traveling to different countries to experience diversity in food, culture, and art. She believes that by traveling and meeting new cultures, it helps create the ability to develop a different design perspective that can be used in many forms of art.

ANAIS CAMILO

Senior Designer & Office Manager

Anais Camilo is our senior designer and office manager. After obtaining her Associates degree in interior design at the Community College of Philadelphia in 2015, she assisted with the architectural project of the designing and execution of building an aesthetically pleasing night club in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Regularly attending national workshops, residential and commercial expos inspires her to continuously expand her knowledge and experience to create fresh, new ideas for the company. You’ll find Anais assisting our drafters with floor layouts, computer modeling, and 3D renderings all while always exploring new ways to implement design methods.

Marketing & Social Media Coordinator

Franshesca Soto is the Marketing and Social Media coordinator at Magda Green Design. As a student, she is currently studying for a Neuroscience major in Temple University, Franshesca plans on taking her degree to go towards a career in marketing analytics and data trends. Born in the Dominican Republic, she came to the United States as a young girl and had early ambitions for great things. It wasn’t until she moved to Philadelphia from New Jersey and started school that she realized her passions and ambitions for herself. She plans on researching data trends so that she can apply it to the needs of a client so that they can have the most up to date aesthetics for their projects.

SOFIANE RABAHI

Architectural Designer

Sofiane Rabahi, is an architectural designer for the company from a Berber Village in Kabylia, Algeria. Algeria, known for its traditional architecture, is where he received his State Diploma of Architect for Architectural Project and Technologies at Mouloud Mammeri University. Hungry to discover new passions, Sofiane moved to France where he attended The National School of Architecture and received his degree of accreditation to practice as Project Manager, HMONP, and received his Master’s degree, DEA in Architecture as a Discipline. With over 13 years of experience in design, including residential, commercial, and AutoCAD drafting, Sofiane also has BIM experience using Revit Architecture. Sofiane has a deep desire to design projects that makes life easier for people. He is delicate with precision in drawings and geometric design of an architectural space or given object, making it easy for clients to understand the plans. Always staying productive, Sofiane enjoys cooking, sports, reading, hiking, traveling, cuisine tasting, and meeting new people.

    Heydy Cabrera is one of our design professionals here at Magda Green Design. Her area of expertise lies in interior renovations, new constructions, additions, make-safes, and demonstration planning of residential and commercial buildings. Originally from Copan Ruinas, Honduras, Heydy’s interest in architecture was inspired as she migrated to the states by the well-known structure of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s City Hall. She has obtained her Associates degree in Architecture and has been hands on in the field for 2 years..

    Julisse Melo is our administrative professional here at Magda Green Design. Currently continuing her studies at Atlantic Cape Community College, she possesses the advantage of being bilingual by effectively communicating in both English and Spanish fluently. She specializes in both internal and external communications by coordinating meetings, educating her peers and capitalizing on opportunities to network.

    Structural engineering consultant

    Christopher J. Menna, P.E., F.ASCE is Principal of Menna Engineers & Associates serving Magda Green Design for approximately five years and counting, primarily providing structural engineering, constructability, and special inspection support. Offering 26 years of experience, including 10 years of college level teachings, he is one of the most sought after freelance structural engineers in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Chris is a registered professional engineer in six states and is a well-known leader in professional engineering organizations. He is lauded for his ability to rework incomplete projects – essentially saving and/or cleaning up the work of other professionals. Chris offers a wealth of knowledge, having worked for contractors, government agencies, and consultants. Chris is recognized for service above oneself, honesty, integrity, and attention to detail. He cares for his clients and sticks with them to completion.
